Time for Alabama to send A&M back to reality. The last couple weeks have been fools gold in College Station. Jimbo is still a gigantic fraud.

Texas keeps playing good teams. If they win they’re gonna leap Michigan for number 2 even if Michigan beats Minnesota by 100. And deservedly so I get it.

The B1G is horrifyingly bad this year. This week you get Minnesota who lost to Northwestern, then it's IU who needed a miracle to beat Akron. Essentially a 3 team conference, maybe 3.5 depending on what Maryland does against the other 3.

Yep, and all 3 of those teams are the last 3 games on Michigan’s schedule: at Penn State, at Maryland, vs Ohio State. Until then I guess I can enjoy watching Michigan mash other teams.

Man, I don’t know.  Obviously, you’ve seen more of aTm than me but Max Johnson looks pretty good.  But yeah, Jimbo is a big fraud.

Lots of upset potential in the SEC this weekend.  LSU at Mizzou, BAMA at aTm, and watch out for Kentucky at Georgia.

Max was incredible in the first half on Saturday but was much more pedestrian in the second half.

Maryland is gong to beat OSU, book it.

Maryland seems to always look really good early in the season but fade quickly when they get into the teeth of their schedule.  But really experienced QB could make the difference here.  I don't think OSU offense is good enough to hide, leaving the door open for a good Maryland offense to sneak one out

The SEC is down this year. I could definitely see Georgia losing this game. There are no dominant teams in CFB this year. Should make things interesting come the end of the season. Michigan and Texas look like the two best teams to me right now.

Last year against OSU, Maryland had the ball twice with the chance to take the lead late in the 4th quarter.  They also spent all but 8 minutes of the game at Michigan within 1 score and ended up losing by 7.  I think they are going to be a challenge for good teams.  OSU is coming off a bye and playing at home so maybe they will struggle there but the Michigan game at Maryland could be a struggle being sandwiched between games at Penn State and Ohio State.

Outside of rest and keeping players healthy, I don't love a BYE and then a cupcake (UMass) as the two weeks leading up to a road game at the Buckeyes

Geez there are rumors on Michigan sites that their schedule next year will include:

Home: Texas (already contracted), USC, Oregon, UCLA, Wisconsin, Michigan St

Away: Ohio State, Washington

At least they avoid Penn State? Not sure how they get through that gauntlet with more than 3-4 losses but maybe I’m just so used to playing cakepuff schedules with maybe 2-3 challenging games a season lol

Now, Myer is denying he's interested.

Definitely not easy, but Penix won't be at UW next year, Caleb probably won't be at USC, and UCLA, Wisconsin and MSU aren't good enough to be too concerned about at the moment.

I hate that the geographical rivalries aren't locked in. PSU doesn't play Michigan in 2024 or Ohio State in 2025

It's an 18-team conference. You're not going to be able to play everyone you want to every year. In any case, I think PSU's athletic department prefers it that way, the rumor is their lack of desire to maintain annual rivalries is why they got 'unrivaled' in the new configuration.
