KB better try picking on a different part of the park next time

He should know by now it’s his 2nd season here, he’s probably played 30 whole games here by now.

Assad is getting touch up pretty good . They will need a big number of runs tonight considering the bullpen situation . Not even sure Merryweather is available . Pitched in 3 of last 4

Assad did not look great last start and not a promising start today. Hopefully he settles in

I think this is closer to the "real" Assad.  The pixie dust is bound to wear off at some point.  He has done a good job as rotation depth, but I don't trust him as anything more than that

Yeah I kind of figured. His peripherals were screaming regression but that doesn’t mean he can’t be a solid starter. And while he’s thrown a ton of pitches and had quite a few baserunners tonight, he hasn’t allowed a run through 3 IP

I'm not going to judge any pitcher by one start in Coors, even against a ****** Rockies team. Not saying you are wrong, but let's see if it continues next start

Yeah, he's a younger Sampson, and possibly a bit more useful than Sampson as a reliever.

Oh, definitely not judging on one start.  He has been getting by on some RISP magic a lot recently. Still getting the job done, but I don't think it is sustainable.

Mets have some pitcher named Coonrod trying to stop the Dbacks. Based loaded 1 out 6-3 Mets top 8.

Ottavino gets a bases loaded double play to preserve a 6-4 lead

Caroll GIDP but the DBacks got 1 more run so it’s 6-4

7 straight balls… 2 straight guys are trying to bunt and he can’t throw it over the plate
