Seiya's approach was so obviously putting him behind the 8 ball. Glad they finally took the step to address it. He has a good shot at ending with a 120 or so this year.

Wouldn’t be surprised which would suck bc his pitch count isn’t bad and we have a 5 run lead so the last thing you want to do is have to use the pen for 4 innings.

They were particularly horrible when he first got there. The most recent outings have been more promising.

With Horton trying to force his way onto the team. 
 

Hendricks isn’t technically homegrown and I have no idea if they’ll pick up his option but there’s a full rotation of pitchers who came up through the Cubs org lol

Yep..

With Taillon and possibly Stroman returning on his option, it likely they'll let Hendricks go.

There really no reason not to bring Bellinger and  Candelario back, outside of the bullpen there really not much else they need to go out and spend money on.
