So sounds like they want to give Steele an extra day of rest between his next 2 starts.  He'd be on 5 days rest if he pitches Saturday and then with 2 additional off days on Monday and Thursday, he'd have another 5 days before starting next Friday.  I suppose they could insert Stroman during one of those White Sox games if he's healthy but I'm guessing he'd start next Saturday.

Friday: Assad

Saturday: Steele

Sunday: Taillon

Tuesday: Hendricks

Wednesday: Assad

Friday: Steele

What do people think about this process? Is this a good way to use game threads before game time? I do not have strong opinions on this either way, it's really up to all of you.

I personally prefer a series thread.  It has a continuous flow to it, instead of starting a new thread every game.

If the Cubs offered the Mariners Morel for George Kirby in the off season, which team doesn’t walk away as a better team?

I know Pat is taking this entire road trip off for a mental break or something. Not sure why our broadcasters are always taking time off these days though
