Ah, yes. The Mets should be interesting this offseason. I think they're going to go hard at David Stearns, though I don't know if they'll land him. It's a good fit for both parties but I'm not sure Stearns wants back in the big chair after only one season away from baseball.

No, I'm a traditionalist in that sense as well.  I liked when the leagues were completely separate, which also created some added intrigue for the All-Star game.  I also liked the unbalanced schedule, where teams played significantly more games in the division. I understand why those things don't work anymore, but I'm still not a fan of the new schedule where everybody plays everybody.
