Skiles is amazing. What he has done with this team in such a short time is a miracle.

BTW, do you guys think Kirk Hinrich will be an All-Star?

I don't think he'll be a starter, but I think he'll be on the team.

Man this team is even DEEP!!! I love it!

3rd 5-game win streak of the season after not having one since...what...98?

63 points from the bench certainly would indicate that.

  WOW!! Pacers lost tonight too!!

Nocioni (17), Piatkowski (16), and Pargo (14) all out-scored the top scoring starter. Deng had just 12 and was the only starter to score in double digits.

I really hope he does make it. He deserves it.

We actually have the sixth seed now despite being tied with Orlando.

Definitely won't be a starter. Has to be voted in, I think. Now that I think about it, he's a longshot at best....the East is loaded with guards.

Pierce, Iverson, Wade, Francis, Arenas, Marbury have all had better years than Hinrich.

Didn't Deng sit a LOT of the second half too though? Seems like Skiles decided that the Bobcats might be a good team to rest starters against. Kinda like when Dusty throws out a lineup with Goodwin, Macias, Perez and Bako in it?

Well, Hinrich, Deng, and Gordon have all been selected to play in the Rookie Challenge.

LeBron James and Dwayne Wade were also selected to play in that game. Neither will, as both should be All-Star starters.

I read somewhere that LBJ said he wanted to play in the rookie challenge even if he gets selected in the All Star game. The man is nuts

I was listening to Bulls Post with Carmen DeFalco on the way home this evening, and he said that if the Buls win this Saturday vs. the Celtics that we'd be 13-2, which (from a Winning percentage standpoint), would be the third best month EVER from a Bulls team. Dynasty years, the Sloan days, everything.

I <3 the Bulls. Gonna get me spending my money there!

I'm looking forward to the playoffs so I can actually see this team play! No WGN or Comcast Sports here. Do they play on national tv ever?

I haven't heard of anything of them being on National TV unless they become SO good that ESPN alters scheduling to get them on TV.

Also, got two tickets to the Bulls/Pistons game in mid April. \:D/

The only national TV game (TNT, ESPN, ABC, etc) game scheduled for the Bulls this year was sometime in December against Philly, a game the Bulls lost fairly badly. There was word that ESPN could alter their schedule to include the Bulls later in the season if they are still doing well.

Chicago still has a basketball team???

Does Philly still have one? If so, when was the last time they won a nba championship?

Who knows. Last I heard they had some dude named Eyeversin, but I don't know much about them though. What's this NBA business I've been hearing about, anyway?

It wasn't THAT bad - they were in the game but losing most of the time and did hold the lead at times in the first half. That was before their 5-game win streak (the first one :D).

Ok sure, this is fan polling and I'm sure there are some overly excited Bulls fans included in here, but just for fun, some ESPN Sportsnation Poll results:

Top 5 in each category

4) Who is the Coach of the Year so far?

30.4% Mike D'Antoni, Phoenix Suns

27.0% Scott Skiles, Chicago Bulls

15.6% Nate McMillan, Seattle SuperSonics

13.0% Eddie Jordan, Washington Wizards

6.6% Gregg Popovich, San Antonio Spurs

7) Who will win the East?

50.8% Miami Heat

15.9% Detroit Pistons

8.4% Chicago Bulls

6.7% Cleveland Cavaliers

5.4% Washington Wizards

9) Who will win the 2004-05 NBA title?

37.1% San Antonio Spurs

10.6% Miami Heat

9.6% Phoenix Suns

7.6% Detroit Pistons

5.5% Chicago Bulls

The Chicago homer factor. They aren't winning the East or the title.

But, I think Skiles is the coach of the year. What he has done with the team in amazing. 0-9 start, and now this. And he doesn't have any superstars or even all-stars. Different guys contribute every night.

Skiles is the man.
