that first quarter was hideous. 25% shooting in the first 5 or 6 minutes while milwaukee shot 70%, milwaukee screws it up by turning the ball over 5 or so times. The bulls didn't make a shot from further than what, 6 inches in the first 4 minutes?

Deng was shooting before today's game. He looked a little ginger out there but was hitting his shots.

Fortson was suspended for one game by the Sonics due to "conduct detrimental to the team" that occured during practice. We won't see him tonight. From ESPN.com:

Fortson was sent home early from Thursday's practice after getting into a shouting match with Sonics coach Nate McMillan, leaving in doubt his status for Friday's game against Chicago, the Seattle Times reports. The incident stemmed from a foul call that Fortson didn't think was deserved.

Strange game so far. The Sonics turned the ball over on their first three possessions and the Bulls jumped to a 7-2 lead. Seattle then nailed their first four shots from beyond the arc and had a 21-11 lead. Many sloppy plays and missed layups later, the Bulls go into halftime with a 56-53 advantage.

That's impressive, Seattle's had a great season thus far.

Bulls up 72-64 with 4:20 left in the 3rd. Bulls ball after the offensive foul and they'll look to extend their largest lead of the game.

Ouch. Hiney either got hit below the belt or got the wind knocked out of him. Judging by the way he was walking, I'd say the former.

The scorers really have this messed up. The Bulls are either up by 9 or 6.

And the refs just took 3 points away from the Bulls. 6 point lead to start the fourth.

ESPN Gamecast is on crack. NBA.com just gave up.

At least they tried. MLB Gameday would have packed it up an hour ago.

This is getting to be a REALLY physical game. The refs are making the calls, but bodies are flying all over the place.
