7-3 in their last 10. Hottest team in the East besides the Heat, who have been hot all year. 2 games out of the 8th playoff spot, with 2 games in hand over Philly.

If they keep showing improvement, I don't think Philly is good enough to hold them off. Of course, New Jersey will get better and is right on the Bulls' heels.

I haven't seen them play much this year, but seems as if Tyson is coming to play. What's up with Nocioni? Everyone was all about him early, haven't heard much about him lately.

Edit: my 8000th post! Dang!

nocioni seems like a perfect role-player to me, he can do pretty much anything off the bench for a short period, i think he fits very well.

i wish that skiles would start gordon and chandler, but that's the only changes i can think of. great job bullies, i'm finally getting excited about this team again, although i've held out hope since 98.

this is the first year i haven't renewed my league pass and i'm kicking myself for it.

Nocioni is a hard nosed son of a gun. I really like his defensive game, and ability to step in and take a charge. Hes the type of player that will just piss the other team off, hes annoying lol. His shot has been off lately, and he hasnt been hitting the 3 at all. He has said he is a much better shooter than what hes showns so far so I hope thats true. I think he will be a very good signing in Pax's resume. The Bulls have Philly this week also so hopefully they come to play. I agree Raw, NJ should get better, especially with Vince coming to play everynight for the Nets, instead of half the time like he did the the Raptors. I lost alot of respect for Vince after seeing his interview with John Thompson on ESPN.

Yeah, the couple games I have seen Nocioni hasn't hit anything from outside. Hasn't really done much of anything when I've seen him. I think he's hitting like 17% from 3 this season.

I like this Bulls teams, but I hate the old guys. I can't stand AD, Griffin, or Piatkowski. Othella's ok.

I like this team also. As far as the old guys go, AD is the only one who gets considerable PT. Like I mentioned earlier I think AD would be perfect coming off the bench, but SKiles wont mess with the starting lineup right now which is understandable.

I actually like Davis in to start with Tyson bringing the energy off the bench. I would definitely start Gordon over Duhon though. Gordon has surprised me this year, but it would be nice if the Bulls got more size/defense at the 2G spot and came off the bench with Gordon at either G spot. Duhon's nothing special to me.

The reason why I would like Tyson starting is to get his energy from the start and try jumping on people. If Tyson or Curry get in foul trouble then bring in AD, but its working right now so what the hell lol. The only reason I can think of for Gordan starting over Duhon right now is Gordan turning the ball over so much. Duhon does a pretty good protecting the ball, while Ben's TO"s add up sometimes. TO's are the one thing that the Bulls are having trouble in right now, and Skiles has been pretty upset about them. I think by the end of the year however that Gordan will be starting.

Duhon came out of high school being a very good offensive player. He said though that when he got to Duke they never needed him to score so he always tried doing everything else. I think he can hit the open 3, but he cant take anybody off the dribble. The only reason he is starting right now is because Gordan turns the ball over too much, and doesnt play consistant D.

Well I dont know if its consistent, but its better than Gordans as of right now I believe.

We need a bigger guy off the bench who can guard some of the bigger guards in the league.

Posted
Well who are some of the bigger guards in the league that you are thinking of? It seems as if alot of the "star" players of the teams we have been playing lately have struggled against the Bulls. The Bulls have been playing a zone alot lately, which can make up for their lack of size at that position. When the Bulls switched to the zone tonight is when they went on their 15-1 run. When you have Deng, Chandler, and Curry on the floor in the zone, their wingspans wreak havoc.

I'm thinking of guys like Hamilton, Kobe, Caron Butler, McGrady, Vince Carter - of course a few of these guys are 3's and not 2's. I see a lot of guards going off against the Bulls though (even during the 5-game win streak - guys like Tinsley and Billups scored quite a bit).

Good point on the zone D and the wing spans.

Ok yea I think with most of the guys you mentioned it would be Deng that is guarding them. I agree it would be nice if we could find a taller gurad to D up however, I think we can allow the guards to try and beat them. If Chandler continues to block shots the way he has been, then they are going to have to settle for the jumper. If the shot falls then ok, but I'll take my chances with the guards trying to beat the Bulls shooting jumpers. I hope Im making sense right now, I feel like Im rambling and I have a terrible headache. So if Im not just tell me to shur up lol. Regarding Tinsley, he was thier only option to score when we played them so he was going to get his points.

You're going fine. I understand ya and it makes sense. I just don't know what shur is (had to take a shot at your typos after you did the same to me in Transactions). ;)

Deng it! I seen that and was going to go back in and edit it, but I didnt want to go thru the hassle. I know after my shot, that you would take that opening.

Bulls beating the Celtics 28-25 after one quarter. I wish we had two TVs here so I could watch them on WGN but I'm watching the Chargers game here.

GO BULLS!

Trying to watch both. Deng having a good game. Curry started out on fire.

Bulls lead it 58-52 at the half, finishing the half on a 16-3 run. :D

Eric Piatkowski sighting!

And he drained a big three late to put it away.

Those guys are really moving the ball around well. I'm impressed.
