Wesneski cannot horsefeathers the bed again and stay in the rotation.

Until Hendricks is ready, there aren't great other options

Seth Lugo is one of those guys who looks like he should not be a good pitcher, but some how manages to get guys out. I think he should be pushing 40, but he's in his early 30s.

I have an irrational (?) hatred for Tucker Barnhart.

Almost matches my love for Nelly V.

Yeah, how long before you move him out of the #2 spot for a while?

I think you just ride it out.  I'm at a wedding this week and one of the people at the wedding is a Braves fan, he said you just have to live with it.  He'll hit like .050 for 2-3 weeks and then all the sudden is red hot.

Reminds me of some of the slumps Soriano used to get into back in the day.  Different hitters of course but Sori would be absolutely putrid for a long stretch and then all the sudden he hits like 7 HR in a 6 game stretch and almost every AB ends in a line drive somewhere.

me too re Barnhart, and for me it comes from hearing that hick Marty Brennaman gargling out his name like Marty was deep into the bourbon, when Tucker was on the Reds

A while? It's April. And he has a 16.8% walk rate. Do you have a better option than the dude with the .396 OBP?

And if today is any indication, Hendricks is a Looooooooong way from being ready.

Meh, I'm not really worried about results for Hendricks on his first rehab.  Seems to be working on command of his pitches.

Why is Fulmer out there again? I get wanting him to get confidence again, but you are threatening to ruin a fortunate outing/lead/result by Fulmer giving up the lead.
