Cubs win and I just found out I’m going to be in Washington for work on Monday while the Cubs are in town. That never happens when I travel.

I really didn't think the whole hey let's turn Steele into a modern version of Lester was going to go so well. He still has bouts of wildness that make me nervous the house is about to collapse but he is just so good at missing barrels and manages to wiggle out of those jams.

I'm sure they are hoping so - he signed a 14-year $25 million a year contract that the first two years of have been an unmitigated failure.  He reportedly was a major locker room problem as both he and the team's performance nose-dived at the end of 2021 and we all know about last year.
