2 bleacher tickets still available, though if we're being totally honest most of the reason they were available yesterday was because Stubhub wasn't letting me sell them and it wasn't worth the hassle to figure out another solution, so if they fixed that glitch I might just go that route. Would rather give them away to someone here.

Not the most relevant for today's lineup in particular, but the lack of usage for Rios is catching my eye.  Only Torrens(again, why are we doing this with him) has fewer PA in the first 10 games.  Part of me wonders if he's a casualty of the Seiya/Hughes activations, especially with Velazquez seizing his chance.

Wasnt expecting Swanson but still sucks to not see him in the lineup.  He only missed 2 total games over the last 3 seasons.  Hopefully he's not out long.

Does Rios have options?  Would hate to lose him when we're already a bit lacking in power.

Yes, one option year left.  He could choose free agency if we outrighted him so probably best to keep on the 40 man(which isn't the current convo anyway), but you could see the argument to give him regular ABs for a spell until something at the MLB level changes(injury or performance)

Gilbert was 7th among qualified SP in fastball velocity last year(0.1 behind Burnes) so that's why Velazquez isn't in there(also helps explain Rios).

Even if he's fine, it makes sense to give him the day off today before the off day and let him come back (hopefully) fully rested Friday night.

That makes sense and is entirely logical.

Honestly, I don't know why he didn't request a leave of absence for his wife's health. Give him some days off.

Pretty surprised at no roster move.  All things considered the bullpen is not in a terrible place but still figured swapping out Rucker for a fresh arm was prudent

Off day tomorrow helps, as does Stroman being the SP (knock on wood).  Rucker is definitely down, Alzolay probably is too, but you can get away with using anyone else in the right situation.  If Stroman gets knocked around you eat it but otherwise let him work through things and get 5-6 and let Keegan/Boxberger/Fulmer be plan A.
