I thought there was some suggestion that his sign stealing was more elaborate. Nobody really cares about the runner at 2nd stealing signs.

I dont have an issue with the players stealing signs during play, or coaches/managers clueing in players in the dugout or via a 1st or 3rd base coach, but when you've got organizational dudes using a camera in the outfield, sending in signals to some dude who's banging on a tub I feel like you crossed a line. But once people start using specialized equipment (cameras, binoculars, trash cans) and various other employees, it has gone too far.

Just in the last 10 years we got the Astros scandal and the Cardinals hacking scandal. The MLB knows how to produce a good scandal

The real story is super boring, and had all the planning and skill of a bunch of kids trying to to steal their friend's action figures. The rest of baseball should be horsefeathering ashamed only in that they were able to pull off something so lame and obvious for so long.
