So, right before the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception, Franco Harris has passed away at 72 years old.

Franco was going to be the guest of honor at a TON of events around the city of Pittsburgh this weekend. The NFL scheduled the Raiders @ Steelers so perfectly on the day after the 50th anniversary, on Saturday Night Football on NFL network to help celebrate the event that put modern day NFL football on the map.

Why do they have so many alternates for what's now a flag football game and skills weekend?

So, Mahomes, Allen and Burrow pro bowlers. I'm assuming Herbert, Tua and Jackson are the 1st three alternates. I don't know that Huntley "deserves" it over anyone, but they basically took him over scrubs like Zach Wilson/Mike White, Tannehill, Russ Wilson, Carr, Davis Mills and Trubisky/Pickett. But you'd think at that point they'd just stop naming alternates.

Trevor Lawrence should be next.

Yea it drops off, but he's only started two games. Like... there should be a snap minimum or something lol

I'd also definitely put Brisset after Lawrence.

horsefeathering Vikings man.

Has there ever been a more vulnerable 12-3 team.

11-0 in one score games and basically even point differential. They can’t just continue to pull a rabbit out of the hat can they?

Philly gets the 1st down at the Dallas 19 with 34 seconds and a TO. Instead of taking the TO, the Minshew clocks it. Horrible decision. That gave Philly only 3 plays to get a first/score instead of four plays. They end up with three more incompletions, lose the game, and go to the locker room with that timeout.

Bad coaching.

Especially with a backup QB as your starter. Take the time out and talk about it. Design a play or two.

You get that roughing the passer call based on color of skin and reputation not the actual play.

Tua has great numbers, but when I see him play he’s not good. Lots of dumb stuff. Is he propped up by his roster?

He's not terribly accurate, mobile, or great arm strength. He's an avg QB with great WRs.

Packers just win in December. I think they’ll win out. This weekend was extraordinary for them. All the pieces fell their way.

Two of the luckiest teams face each other next week. Go Vikings!

I was going to say that. The Dolphins did a great job assembling pieces around him but he’s not particularly special. Today was a huge moment for them and he laid a huge turd.

Since they usually stack division games in December, I’d assume it’s more the fact they gotten to face a lot of shitty teams vs it actually being a true talent/thing? The NFC North is largely terrible since Rodgers has been there.
