I'm rooting for Seattle, but, in the end, it doesn't really matter. If they win, they are going to get stomped like a narc at a biker rally by the Astros.

I just want them to have a home game after being out of the playoffs for so long

Not this year. Houston, Cleveland, and New York are higher seeds.

They'll still have a home game

Right. The WC round had my head messed up.

OMG, Philly with these effing bunts after lead off doubles!

It’s not like they have this lockdown pen where it makes sense to sacrifice outs/chance for big inning for a better chance to score 1 run

St. Louis parlayed completely ludicrous pixie dust seasons (even by their standards) from Goldschmidt, Arenado, Wainwright and Pujols into zero playoff wins. There is some good in the world.

Yadi got his basketball championship. Misuse of pixie dust.

The cockroaches are dead.

Really started to feel like 2011/2012 with the Cardinals repeatedly coming off the mat with 1 strike left in their season.

It's weird, Goldy and Arenado were the complete opposite of a Cardinals star in October. Those two completely horsefeathers the bed.

Pujols’s line this year was completely propped up by him destroying lefties and yet the Cards batted him 2nd against Wheeler and Nola. That’s obviously not what cost them the series but it’s a baffling decision.

Mets down 2-0 early

Man if they blow this god only knows what Steve Cohen does this offseason but it'll be fun from the outside

Makes me laugh that last year we sent them PCA, then they chickened out and wouldn’t pony up for Contreras, then the Cubs swept them causing them to play in the WC round with 101 wins and now they’re going to lose

I just turned this on and I’m confused about what’s happening? He has something on his ear, umps checked and didn’t find anything illegal? But his spin rate is through the roof tonight more than any other start this year? Supposed he could just be full of adrenaline.

Naturally Mets fans are latching onto this to deal with their team’s failure

Edit: it’s possible his spin rate is just higher than his season average not “through the roof”. I got that from a Mets forum
