What a quote :

Uh, Zach, you never thought about being the vocal leader?

He seems pretty vocal with the referees on every play he drives to the basket.

every bulls beat writer is laundering propaganda from management that patbev is some kind of culture changing difference maker

he might change the culture but he sucks ass at basketball and what he does well isn't going to move the needle

really shameful stuff

Posted moments before the Bulls became the second team in the NBA this season to have a 50 point lead in a game. Brooklyn is terrible all of a sudden, though. I felt like he brought some good energy to the team last night. I also liked the bench of Ayo, Coby, WIlliams and Drummond last night. We will see how they fare against better competition, but in general, probably right about not moving the needle that much. I do think they are a low end playoff team. Not sure what good that does them, though.

We're here because the Bulls have done something hilarious. By losing on Sunday, they became just the fourth team in NBA history to lose a regular-season game despite shooting at least 60 percent from the floor, at least 45 percent from the arc, and at least 88 percent from the stripe. The Bulls did not commit an unusual number of turnovers—14 in the game, percentage points off their season average and almost exactly the NBA average this season—and, despite Beverley's postgame insistence that the Bulls "lost it on offensive rebounding," Chicago's 68 percent defensive rebounding rate Sunday was not, like, bad enough. When a team shoots 61/46/88 and loses, you're looking for something extraordinary. That the Pacers had four more possessions than past performance might predict is not enough! This has only happened three other times, ever!

They did allow 9 more offensive rebounds, so there's some validity to that. They allowed 20 more shots. And the Bulls just don't hit enough 3s unless Zack has one of his blistering performances. High % is nice but they only hit 10 3s while the Pacers hit 16.

Have the Bulls dropped like completely off the radar for anyone else? I didn't even realize that "accomplishment" against the Pacers. I vaguely remember seeing that they lost the game, but I've lost all will to care about this particular team. They need to switch things up in the offseason because this is a hatable squad, but I don't think they will.

I’ve given up trying to understand the last 2 years of Bulls basketball as they trounce the Nuggets who were 30-4 at home this year.

Edit: I realize this post comes right after a post where I mention I don’t even pay attention to whether they’re playing anymore, but it’s hard to not notice on Twitter when the Bulls blowout the top team in the west on the road.

Chances he retires before he ever plays again?

Personally I've assumed he's never playing again ever since we got the bad news this offseason.

Insane, absolutely insane. Hopefully the Bulls can get an injury waiver to give them some space to find a replacement PG this offseason. Though I think with cap holds for guys like Vuc, the Bulls are over the cap even without Lonzo's cap number.
