Feels kind of mean for the managers to bat both Brennen Davis and Brendon Davis 6th in their respective lineups. I've been fooled checking the box score 3 times already

Even if he only becomes this guy in the majors 30% of the time, the possibility of having that much team control over the LHH power bat they desperately need is very enticing. I'd hate to see him traded for anything less than a young, #1 starter. Edited by muntjack

Davis not looking good in LF right now.
And at the plate. Hopefully it's just a matter of needing more reps, but right now he certainly doesn't look like someone who will be in the conversation for a Major League spot early next season.

Mervis, Leeper...who else did we sign as ndfa that year that has had success?

No one else that's had any real success from my check: https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/2020-mlb-undrafted-free-agent-tracker-agreements-for-all-30-teams/#Cubs

Sheldon Reed? A year ago I had interest in Bailey Reid, too. But he hasn't pitched much this year, and has been super wild when he did.

A year ago Scott Kobos seemed like a great story guy, but he's pitched only a little this season and has been super wild.

Yeah… Sheldon Reed is going to the AFL so the Cubs definitely view him as something.
