Even if he only becomes this guy in the majors 30% of the time, the possibility of having that much team control over the LHH power bat they desperately need is very enticing. I'd hate to see him traded for anything less than a young, #1 starter. Edited September 27, 2022 by muntjack

Sheldon Reed? A year ago I had interest in Bailey Reid, too. But he hasn't pitched much this year, and has been super wild when he did.

A year ago Scott Kobos seemed like a great story guy, but he's pitched only a little this season and has been super wild.

Yeah… Sheldon Reed is going to the AFL so the Cubs definitely view him as something.
