Not my favorite thing I've ever read. Most of those were Kizer on a Browns team that was openly tanking, but still

He had another one where someone tweets to him "you were awful" and he comes back with "that's not what your mom said!"

I feel like the "your mom" stuff needs to be used more judiciously, but Flynn flashed some humor during interviews when he was in Green Bay.

Ja' Marr Chase has 180 yards and 3 TD

And it's only 90 seconds into the 3rd quarter

If the Saints finish their season in a week or two as expected, the Bengals might be my rooting interest. They’re a fun team.

They just put up some stat about the Bengals being the first team in NFL history to have a 4000 yard passer, 1000 yard rusher, and two 1000 receivers ALL 25 years old or younger

That 30 yard catch on 3rd and 27 for Chase gives him 266 yards, which is a Bengals record (old record was 260 for Chad Johnson), and would be 15th all time for most receiving yards in a game (record is 336 by Flipper Anderson of the Rams in 1989).

Whatever. The Bears beat them!

Anderson was only starting that night because Ellard got hurt. He had 1/3 of his seasons catches that night and ended the year with a ludicrous 26 YPR.

Chase has to be the first rookie with 2 200 yard games right?

Chargers-Raiders looks like it'll be the primetime game for next week.

Titans take the AFC South and hold the top spot in the AFC, despite having a DVOA about on par with the Bears.

Bengals win the AFC North by beating the Chiefs, and currently hold the 3 seed.

Buffalo and New England also both clinch playoff spots with wins and the Ravens loss.

Colts still in good shape for a playoff spot, just have to beat the Jags next week.

Last AFC spot will go to the Chargers-Raiders winner next week.

Burrow ends up 30 yards short of 1000 over 2 weeks JFC

The only thing that could keep him from HOF type greatness is health. He’s built like a guy from your rec league.

did antonio brown retire mid-game or something?

When Arians was asked what led to the decision to cut Brown, the coach said: "I'm not talking about him. He's no longer part of the Bucs."

A source told ESPN that Brown was not benched before leaving the field. "He quit," the source said. Brown is not flying back to Tampa on the team plane, a source told ESPN.

As for the NFC:

Packers clinch the 1 seed if ARI hangs on and GB beats MIN tonight.

Rams still don't clinch the division if ARI hangs on, but would be in the 2 seed position.

Bucs clinched the division but lose all the tiebreakers, so can only get the 1 seed at this point if they win, GB loses twice, DAL loses once, and LAR loses once.

Dallas falls to the 4 seed with a loss, but have already clinched the division and will win any tiebreakers with non-Arizona teams even with a loss today.

Arizona clinches no worse than the 5 seed with a win (and the 4 seed at this point is Dallas).

Philly clinches a playoff spot if MIN loses tonight, thanks to the SF win.

Niners would clinch a playoff spot if the Panthers come back to win or tie the game with the Saints.

Saints need two wins and a Niners loss or two Vikings wins at this point to make the playoffs.

Vikings need two wins, a Philly loss, a Saints loss and/or a Niners loss.

Antonio Brown seems like a bad guy, but he seriously has some mental health issues. You worry what that guy’s going to do to himself or someone else.

Saints win, so the NFC playoff picture continues unclinched for one more week. Eagles will still clinch a playoff spot if the VIkings lose, though.

Chargers also beat the Broncos, which eliminates both the Browns and Broncos. Browns play the Steelers tomorrow, and Steelers would be eliminated with a loss.

Hot take: I think Brown is still suffering severe issues from this, and never really recovered:

Hotter take: The NFL is just kind of broken as a sport by default right now, and despite changes to try to make it "more safe", it's never really going to be appropriately safe in the form it is.

Yeah, after the Vikings lose tonight, it will come down to Saints and 49ers for the last spot. 49ers win, they’re in. They lose and Saints win, NO is in.

Vikings are going to lose either way but it would’ve been nice if Cousins was on the field when their season ends.

I think it's rather fitting that a guy who claimed he'd "do anything" to accommodate COVID protocols besides the easiest horsefeathering thing he could possibly have done ended his team's playoff hopes by very predictably getting COVID and being subjected to unvaccinated people's protocol
