Fields missing guys wide open doesn’t help

Here I’ll say it…he doesn’t look good. Totally overwhelmed

He’s making a lot of mistakes as much as everything else is a disaster

It’s all bad. All bad.

What QB wouldn’t be overwhelmed with all the Browns in his face on every horsefeathering play?

With them already having Fields and not having a 1st rounder, I'm at no point going to root for the team to lose this year.

But I do hope they do just bad enough to get Nagy and Pace canned.

Isn’t that basically rooting for them to lose?

I'm for anything that'll overhaul this organization. If 1-16 increases those chances so be it. Bears won't win with Nagy/Pace. Edited by UK

It’s wild that other coaches can put their young QBs in better positions to succeed and the Bears are out here imitating the Jets.

Sort of? But I think for this purpose 6-11 does the job, whereas when you're going for draft position that's no man's land.

Next comes two or three years of arguing how much is his fault vs coaching and supporting cast

Then when we give up on him, we bring in some crappy retread vet on the principle that he will have to be a huge improvement.

Then the vet will suck, we use a high draft pick on a QB and the cycle continues

This time I’m not accepting any of the arguments that the QB was a failure. It’s 100% staff. Fields is a no-doubt top prospect period end of story.

Fields is completely rattled out there. That was a terrible drive. Bad passes to covered guys the entire drive. Outside of an injury this was a worst case scenario for Fields first start

It's 1 game with a terrible oline against a mad pass rush

But Jesus they better get it figured out
