Next comes two or three years of arguing how much is his fault vs coaching and supporting cast

 

Then when we give up on him, we bring in some crappy retread vet on the principle that he will have to be a huge improvement.

 

Then the vet will suck, we use a high draft pick on a QB and the cycle continues

This time I’m not accepting any of the arguments that the QB was a failure. It’s 100% staff. Fields is a no-doubt top prospect period end of story.

 

You don't generally see the no-doubters fall out of the top 10 and go third at their position

In the meantime, OBJ is just wide open every play

It’s far too late to expect defense. They played well today for as long as can be expected given they spent way too much time on the field desperately trying to keep this thing afloat.

Pace/Nagys management of the roster has been horsefeathering terrible. Imagine having just Leno over anyone of Graham/Foles/Dalton

 

Until today, Peters was an upgrade over Leno. Graham led the Bears in TD catches last year and was great in the red zone.

If you watch a half of Bears football under Nagy, there is a 32% chance that you will not see an offensive TD

 

If you watch a half of Bears football under Nagy from 2019 to now, it goes up to a 40% chance
