Eddie Jackson can tackle. He can tackle his teammate at least.

I guess he was a mirage. Really needed him to work out.

If they end up not looking back with Fields I look forward to big pass plays hopefully becoming a feature. Dalton played okay but was dunking and dunking a lot. Fields had a couple nice deep balls, and the one drop from ARob was an inexcusable drop.

Hopefully more reps with ones the false start issues are resolved. Seemed to be cadence related.

I don't know the numbers but gonna guess a take premised on "you should have run on 3rd and 7" isn't gonna hold up to much scrutiny

The pass behind the sticks was much worse than the decision not to run.

It sure was cool to see the Bears take the ball with 3 minutes left and snuff out the Bengals’ hopes. I feel like that’s a rarity with this team.

Think you’re gonna come back? Nope.

The Bengals have a young QB with a battered line. The defense played great, but let's see Mack have a great game and help hold down a good offense. Next week we'll know more.

Mack is making me sad.

Hot take but I think Fields kind of proved it was the right decision to ease him into the season/career. His talent and upside is obvious but there are some rough edges to work around and I think having a few snaps every game was/is helping.

I was watching this one of my phone from the beach so I didn't catch every play, but I can't complain.

It will be interesting to see how he does if he plays next week with a full week of game install. It's a much better D and if he comes out crisper we may chalk it up to not having a game plan installed and 1st team snaps all week. Of course even if he plays out the season and generally proves he's ready I'll expect some big up and down moments still. Especially with young QBs, I think fans make the mistake of treating every positive and negative game as determinate of a direction when in reality, sometimes it's just gonna be noisy.
