You have to take into account what they’ve been dealing with.

Haven’t been home in three weeks due to Ida.

Over half their coaches out due to Covid.

Ten starters out due to injury.

It’s a lot to overcome.

It amazes me that people are surprised when a rookie QB fails while at the same time are fully aware the position is the most difficult to learn.

 

The league is littered with 1st round QB’s who have been rushed into playing time, with only a handful that have made it. The Jets continue to do the same thing over and over.

 

Let’s hope Fields can defy the odds.

LOL, I saw the big black scar on the roof coming home today. It’s fine. They were painting the roof anyway.

 

As a town, this only adds to the gallows humor we’re all feeling these days.

So the Panthers hopefully and probably stole CJ Henderson this week, just traded a tight end named Dan Arnold(?) and a 3rd round pick for him. Jaycee Horn's out for a while but he and Henderson could make for a top notch CB duo behind Burns and Brown on the DL in the coming years

 

The cherry on top is they're just going to bump Tommy Tremble up the TE depth chart and utilize both he and Ian Thomas more in an offense that already features two top notch deep threats with one of those guys being just one of the best all around WRs in the league.

 

I really like that roster, will hate too see it get Darnold'd later on in the year

I have to keep reminding myself that this team probably still isn't that good, but being 3-0 with a roster chock full of promising talent at most positions is a pretty nice place to be right now.

However many it is, I bet it'll be more than the team thinks. I know paying RBs is stupid but it would've been nice if he could've had one good season after getting the contract before turning into an injury machine. C'est la vie.
