Regarding the facing three batters rule. I know you’re allowed to face less than that if it ends the inning. But if you gave one batter one inning and you go back out to start the next, are you required to face two or can you only face one and be removed (so two total).

If you start the next inning you have to get to three total batters faced.

If you come back out to start the next inning, you're back on the hook for three total batters.
