Granting that I have zero interest in this, but what the hell can they talk about for 10 episodes? There once was a great basketball player, his team won the championship, and Dennis Rodman is a weirdo.

I still remember when we swept the Pistons in the ECF better than I do most of the other series from that era. We were camping at the time and were listening on the radio. Several other families we didn't even know started gathering around our lot to listen to the games and by game 4 it was an all out block party. We kicked their asses in furious fashion, and the energy was insane.

Also the ECF against the Pacers in 97-98 I believe it was. That was the closest we came to actually feeling like we could lose a playoff series. I was never all that nervous in our Finals matchups. But that series they seemed to have an answer every time it felt like we were gonna pull away.

to this day i still wonder...if jordan hadn't cut his finger with that cigar cutter, i gotta think they would've gone for one more go at it in the lockout year. especially considering they would've gotten all that extra rest after the 3 straight championship runs. who knows though.

my friends and i were having this discussion a few months ago. it was never if the bulls could win the title during 96-98, it was just a matter of when's the parade going to happen? the only time we were nervous was during the pacers series in 98. you could see some fractures in the armor as far as age/endurance goes but other than that, we just thought about what cool horsefeathers would go down during the playoffs.

I get labeling Roy Williams as UNC assistant coach and Pat Riley as Lakers coach because that's what they were during the time relevant of that part of the doc

"Depends how horsefeathering bad the headache is."

Jordan anti-tanking in 1986, truly the GOAT.

That was awesome lol. Totally sounds like MJ too.

So 10 pills to cure a headache, but 1 of them could kill you and he still says that...

I never knew his problems with management went that far back. I hate Paxson (as GM/President), but his stories as a player are pretty good.

story- when I was a kid (in sarasota), my friend down the street came home one day and was telling me how he saw michael jordan in his car and got an autograph. this kid was a spoiled brat and he made up stuff a lot. I just brushed it off and assumed he was lying. later that night I saw him on the news. a paparazzi caught it on film. he got out of his dad's car in the middle of traffic and went up to jordan's car for an autograph. the kid ended up being on good morning america. I completely forgot about this for 20 years.

so I'm watching the jordan doc and THERE HE IS. 4 minutes into the first episode, there's my dumbass friend.
