Hitting 0 on the play clock does not make it delay of game. Its delay of game when it hits zero on the play clock and the back judge blows his whistle. If the play gets off before he blows his whistle it is not a penalty

A flag fest in the Super Bowl would have been net negative. I liked the way it played out.

I wish regular games would be called this way instead of every ticky-tack penalty getting called. This game was more about the teams than the refs. That's a good thing, but it definitely was not consistent with what we've become accustomed.

It helps when you have two great teams playing. A couple garbage teams are going to play more sloppily and force more flags to be thrown.

Although there are a few too many crews that love to over penalize.

Super Bowl was won by a quarterback the Bears passed on, something that has only happened in probably most Super Bowls.

Well everybody passed on Brady multiple times and he wins most of them.

Trubisky and the Bear' have grin and take this constant [expletive] narrative, at the very least, it's providing lots of bulletin board incentive material for Mitch. Chances are we won't see significant improvement but, I believe Mitch is going to give a supreme effort in trying to get better for whatever that's worth.

If he needs motivation from what fans are saying then he's got major problems.

Perhaps, I have should said adds more fuel to the fire, he's got to be majorly pissed off with this constant narrative, with social media it surrounds him 24/7, who wouldn't be?

Cutty told him the other day to ignore social media so he prolly doesn't know how upset we are that the Bears didn't draft Mahomes.

I don't think trying hard has been the issue. The guy seems motivated to be better. I've never questioned his effort.

The issue with Mitch is he is not smart. You can't fix that with inspiration.

There is no way whatever his voice sounds like lives up to my expectations

Good point. I'm picturing Seinfeld on the phone in this clip:

Agreed. Is there a NFL QB for Dummies book he can read?

“X gone give it to ya” chosen as the song for the new XFL commercial just seems so perfect. It’s like a realized dream that I only recall once I have actually experienced it in real life.

It sure sounds like this guy wants to sue the NFL because the halftime show made him horny

“Were there any warnings before that Super Bowl halftime show?” he asks. “Were there any warnings that your 12-year-old young son, whose hormones are just getting ready, just starting to operate… Was there any warning that what he’s going to see might cause him to get sexually excited?”

His blood pressure rising—perhaps even higher than it did when the sinful Super Bowl cameras zoomed in on Shakira’s truth-telling hips shaking from side to side—Daubenmire suggests heading to court to hear if the “right to porn” trumps his “right to watch it.” He screams about not having been sufficiently warned about “crotch shots” (J.Lo, we learn, is well-known to the secular world as “an expert in crotch shots”) and says it’s “discriminatory” to mix his desire to watch football with his fear that having seen scantily clad women might stop him from getting into “the kingdom of Heaven” and “put [him] in danger of hellfire.” He caps off the point about how “they won’t even let you talk about h***s on Facebook!” and quickly estimates the damages he’d seek at “about $867 trillion.”
