Yu now throws 10 different pitches I think. The Cubs will surely win and he will strike out 11 and walk one. One homer cause dude gets bored I guess and giving up a solo homer to braun when the cubs are already up 6 is fine. Braun takes one in the rib next AB for being a douche.

the theme is 90's TV gifs. I'll start.

Why would Bote go down if the rosters are expanding tomorrow?

To give Iowa players for the playoffs and continue to give Bote at bats. Probably not going to start over Kemp, Zobrist, or Russell.

Iowa will lose Zagunis and Almora.

Worst lineup of the season.

But beyond that, horsefeathers like this just happens to this team this year. Pitchers scratched last minute, guys back from injury and immediately out again the next day. Makes you think it’s just not gonna happen this year.

Russell has been held hitless in 10 of the 14 games he has played since returning from AAA.

Also over that span, his line has dropped from .247/.329/.404 to .238/.310/.398

But he was really killing it in AAA and #BEST25 and all that, amirite?

Bote has a 300/450/450 line in the 2nd half. 60 PA or not, that has no business being demoted over those guys. And the FO doesnt want to take another one on the chin by DFA Kemp and admitting they gave Monty away for nothing.

And batting Happ behind those 3 bozos [emoji2960]

horsefeathers off, Joe.

We just got shut out, we scratched our starting pitcher, and we desperately need runs, and we put Russell and Almora back to back in a lineup lmao

This is like actively sabotaging our chances stuff

Hmm, so Russell isn't the savior the dream casters were hoping for?
