Brewers take the lead with a four spot. Awesome.

About 70 percent of the time, they always hit that big home run instead of grounding into a double play or something.

we’re also like 3 games over .500 so I have a hard time griping about our bad luck when we could be in divisions with legitimately good teams like the dodgers or yankees or astros.

There has been some bad luck though, our Pythag has us like 15-17 games over .500 I saw recently and we have a positive RD on the road. There’s some bad luck.

So the Twins were just a fake good team and are going to let the Indians win the AL central? Nice.

They don’t deserve to make the playoffs with their half measures deadline

A SP of some kind, Greinke, Wheeler, Stroman, Thor, etc or sign Kuechel earlier and a better bullpen arm or two or again go and sign Kimbrel earlier in the year. They did less than the bare minimum and added like 3 castoffs.

They were in on both those FA, but the price got too much for them to afford. They tried to trade for many of those guys who got traded but were being help up for better prospects. Reports are the Mets wanted the #2 and #16 overall prospects for Thor, and the Jays wanted one of the other for Stroman and took the Mets offer without any Top-100 guys without calling back to get one of the Twins other 3 Top-100 guys.

Right, so they half measured it because they weren’t willing to pay up.

Why would they overpay? Its not the Twins fault the Mets wanted the Jays non top-100 prospect more than one of the Twins other Top-100 guys. A team like the Twins can't afford to overpay for a Kimbrel to sway him to play there when they have to attempt to keep the pending FA they already have and get hit with bumps from arbitration.

Going all in on prospects and money to still be an underdog to the Yankees or Astros would be a bad investment.

Anytime the LHP SP is out Almora needs to be out and Kyle in LF and put Nick back in RF

I thought he is not replaceable because of his otherworldly defense and that -3 DRS this year and +6 for his career?

Albert is our best CF, but he can't hit worth a damn vs RHP.

Are you under the impression that he hits any better vs LHP?

Almora vs. RHP: .258/.288/.452

Almora vs. LHP: .210/.248/.280

hahahahahahaha

so you can make a good argument that it’s the worst strike call of the year.

I told a friend, and I'm completely serious, that was probably in the top 0.5% of terrible strike calls (not just strike 3) in the history of baseball.

yeah, it sure feels like a lot of people still assume Almora is decent against LHP's when he's clearly inept at the plate no matter who he's facing.
