I feel like 90% of the games we lose the crappy thin bullpen is heavily to blame. I get that there are injuries but damn

Piss poor job, Joe. Ryan shouldn’t face righties
He shouldn't, but with the possibility of another long extra inning game, I understand why Joe tried to sneak him through the whole inning.

And home runs to stupid ass catchers

I'm weird and was looking forward to this 8th inning comeback win so it could cancel out one of our (multiple) blown saves in my mind. But all it did was give our bullpen a chance to blow another save lol

Worst loss of the season considering they were one strike away and the ump missed the call.

No he didn't

Sign Kimbrel tomorrow.

Sure, let's ignore the huge red flags about Kimbrel. I'm sure he'll sign for a dollar and pitch like roided-up Eric Gagne the rest of the year

Are they going to fix the bullpen or do we have to just pray Morrow pitches again?

No and no. The Ricketts and Morrow are broke as horsefeathers

I just assume Morrow is dead and will never throw another pitch in anger for the Cubs. Counting on him to return is having hope instead of strategy.

Look at the still above. He went.

*shrug* was that a still that the umpire got to see before making his call? Did he have that angle on it?

What other reliever are you going to get with his track record without having to give up prospects? He’s not the only answer certainly but he’s definitely a good one
