if you're going to make a jokey headline, make it a good joke that at the very least, makes sense.

 

but we can probably skip this one as it's been discussed elsewhere, and unless something major happens with the story, it's not worth discussion

In an athlete/civilian divorce, that's probably true. In an athlete/popstar?singer?pseudo celebrity situation, I'm not sure those numbers add up.

Bigger picture: Why should we give a horsefeathers? If we hear some Russell-esque details come out of this, then it warrants discussion. Until then, it's just a sad story that you'd hope we could do a lot better than 'here's a dumb baseball pun'.

If we’re talking about a man and a woman, it is definitely the most likely. But Ben is no ordinary man.

There's already discussion about this in the general cubs thread...and I don't love the idea of Ben's divorce having it's own thread...so I'm locking this one.
