I actually thought he looked good out there. Everything was around the plate. Velocity 97-98. Both homers were off good pitches, and Ozuna should have been called out to end the game on the 1-2 pitch.

Yeah, plus this was the first time he pitched since last Sunday when he hurt his hamstring, right? Monty is pretty much ready to be back so it will be interesting to see how they manage a pen with essentially two long guys and 1 guy in Chatwood who still can’t be overly trusted. I wonder if they somewhat phantom IL Chatwood for 10-15 days and bring Monty up.
