Davis has gotta get starts eventually but this one is weird. We’ve had 2 off days this week, we’re playing a division rival, and today is a day game with a night game tomorrow. Would think we’d try to have Willson catch all 3 games if possible.

Darvish did well with Davis in Arizona, I'm cool with latching onto any shred of an idea that the combination would help him.

 

And it might be working if not for piss lucky doubles and Vanover repeatedly screwing Darvish on pitches at the knees.

Because i assumed when he was “healthy” last year he was actually still hurting per the cubs horrible ability to diagnose injuries.
