You wouldn't have thought it watching the game but Trubisky was 25 for 29

 

He's lucky a really bad INT was wiped by a penalty but otherwise, extremely efficient.

Yeah you would have. A lot of easy, one-read throws. Obviously, the fumble was bad but nothing wrong with his throws all day, unless you're counting one that league record books don't even count. One of his incompletions was to Robinson toward the sidelines and I think Robinson dove prematurely (I also thought Robinson could have ran through the deep ball too and scored).

Two of his three tipped passes came on third down. The third came in the fourth quarter. As he talked, Hicks moved his right hand back and forth. Was that the hand he blocked all those passes with? Was it hurting him?

 

“Yeah, it actually is,” he said. “I do a lot of things with this hand.”

 

I laughed. Another reporter laughed. Hicks giggled.

I love this guy.
