Vikings haven’t won against a winning team all year.

2 of their last 3 games are against winning teams. The other is in Detroit, which always makes for a tough road trip (DET has 4 home losses but 3 were against playoff-bound teams).

Dare I say the Vikings might lose out?

They probably don't lose out, though amazingly it doesn't take much fiddling to have a 7 win wild card team in the NFC.

How soon can they get out of Cousins deal? Has to be at least 2 more years?

Anyone win or lose in fantasy because of that Seattle defensive TD?

There's a fantasy league at my work and the guy who sits next to me outscored everyone by at least 100 points this year but was the 3 seed because the top-3 all went 10-3 and he lost to the other two. He's playing the weakest of the 5 other playoff teams. Was looking good until Cooper went for 36 points in the 4th quarter and OT yesterday,. So he's down 11 with Seattle's defense left. At 14-0, he's at 8 points so he basically needs a defensive TD to win or something crazy like two sacks and a pick or fumble recovery (1 point per sack/int/fumble recovery). Oh, and the other guy put up the 4th highest single week score in the league this week and was like 20 points higher than anything else he'd done this year (the guy who sits next to me has the top 3, this week included).

Dude didn't even watch the game because he was so annoyed that he was probably going to lose.

I lost because I didn't play the bears d. I was 11-2 with the most points and lost to a 5-8 team. Don't understand why we have 8 teams make the playoffs.

If you have the Bears defense and you don't play them, you don't deserve to win.

I missed out on the playoffs by 1/2 point because of Dalvin Cook's garbage TD with a minute left.

I was only casually watching in a noisy bar, but I could have sworn I saw Cousins cross the line of scrimmage on that throw.

I turned it off by then assuming I was in. I checked to see who I was playing in the playoffs this morning and was confused when I didn't see my name. Then I went to check the box score from the game.

Agreed. I deserved it.

His 3 yr contract was fully guaranteed

Can't be often that a team that has nearly clinched a playoff spot fires their OC after week 15.

I dont even think Cousins sucked that badly this year, he just wanst the savior everyone thought he could be. DeFlippo really might be the issue there.

No week 15 thread so this will have to do.

Saw that Mayfield is the first Browns QB with 20 passing TDs in a season since 2007 (Derek Anderson). That led me to Play Index the Browns QBs. Mayfield's 2018 season is only the second Browns QB season with 20+ TDs since 1987. Not second QB (i.e. a QB did it multiple times) but second time total.

Like, I know the Browns have been terrible over that time and have cycled through QBs but only doing it twice is impressive.

Needed to understand this in the context if the nearly equally helpless Bears QB history. They gave had these seasons more since 1987 (Kramer, Grossman, Cutler(x4), Trubisky. They gave however done it less overall, 12 to 13, in their entire history. When Kramer did it in 95, it was the first in 30 years.
