Yeah, not sure I'd trade Crawford for him but there isn't room for all of Crawford, Kingery, Segura, Hernandez and apparently Machado (or Franco if he stays).

DiPoto will trade off Haniger, Seager, and anything else he can move by the WM. A few days later, he'll get bored, trade for Kluber, Thor, Bumgarner, Greinke, and Jon Gray before January. Realizing he's got no hitters though, he'll re-reverse course, and sell off for the second time during January.

Looks like the deal will be official tomorrow with Crawford going to Seattle and potentially Carlos Santana to balance out the money.

 

If that happens, the Mariners will have Santana, Bruce, Healy, Vogelbach for 1 DH spot. If they trade Seager and Gordon, they could have the worst defensive team in baseball next year.

Segura “and possibly one other player” are going to the Phillies in exchange for a trade package including Santana and Crawford, the Seattle Times’ Ryan Divish reports.

 

I'm now expecting some weird Seager and Gordon to the Angels for Cozart and Adell trade.

Pazos and Nicasio would’ve been two intriguing trade targets for us. Idk what the hell the Mariners are doing here. I would’ve given up Happ or decent things for that segura+RP package and it looks like they just took a salary dump deal and it would have cost us very little. Too bad we’re poors.
