Packers probably need to win out to win the division now. It wouldn't be an insane development, the Bears and Vikings are the only decent teams left on their schedule, but they have no more margin for error.

Win out and lose in the playoffs, while McCarthy keeps his job, is pretty much the worst case scenario. i'll take a hard pass on that.

That Alex Smith broken leg not only happened on the same day, for the same team, with the game ending in the same score as Theismann's. But both injuries happened right past the 40 for Theismann (own 41), and right before the 40 for Smith (opposing 39). And Romeo Crenell who is Houston's DC, was the Giants' special teams coach in 1985.
