that whole god damn thing was moving in slow motion for me. I'd never heard of that loser at the plate before in my life but i just assumed he was their super-fast dude every team has on the playoff roster. As soon as bryant looked less than sure footed I was 100 percent living in a reality where that ball sails into the dugout.

Yeah that’s the first thing I noticed and thought he threw the ball in to the stands off his hand. I’m pretty sure I even shouted out “oh horsefeathers” when it was happening.
