Clemson, ND, and Michigan need to lose because none of them are anywhere close to being able to give Bama a game. Give me any combination of Georgia, Oklahoma, Ohio St, and UCF over all 3.

Ohio State won't even beat Michigan. They would lose by 50 to Alabama

Yeah, I only included them because they'd likely be the team that has to beat Michigan. But yeah, rather see UCF try to "Boise St" their way into an upset. OU and Georgia would have to have everything go perfectly to give Bama a fight, they are so horsefeathering good.

Alabama would score 70 against Oklahoma.

OSU is not very good.....UCF? Come on!!!

Oklahoma and Georgia are not significantly better than Clemson, ND or Michigan.

Never said they were significantly better. Just think they have a better shot at giving Bama a game. Oklahoma can obviously score with anyone. Georgia gave Bama a game last year, and has some athletes that could give Bama trouble. Clemson isn't terrible and has the athletes on both sides, but won by a combined 4-5 points over the only 2 halfway decent teams they've faced. I think Bama would beat ND and Michigan by 20+, though Michigan's defense is starting to put it together.

Georgia is going to have their shot. If Oklahoma wins out they will probably have their shot also. I think someone will stumble

Rude to assume Nick Saban would take his team off the field after 25 minutes of play.

I don’t think anyone is going to touch Alabama this year.

I don’t know. Clemson looks good.

Yeah. They’ve scored more points the last two games than given up on the year. I don’t see how you sleep on them. I mean they beat Bama in a NC game 3 years ago.

They had, arguably, the best player in college football running their offense that year. I think Clemson is plenty good and probably the 2nd best team but I think Bama is quite a bit better and wins easily when/if they play. I’d guess Bama will be a 8+ point favorite in that game.

Oh I agree and it’s boring because Bama will almost assuredly win another championship. I just thought it puzzling to put Clemson in the “second tier” by Raw. If anything, they are the best bet imo to have another game of their life and put up a fight against Alabama. But yes, I think Bama +8 with Clemson sounds about right currently

Clemson definitely has the best chance because their defense could hold them down enough and hope they get lucky with some turnovers and special team plays. I think Bama smokes Mich, OSU, Oklahoma or ND. Clemson could be mildly close, at least for most of the game.

With 4 out of their last 5 being quality opponents....I wouldnt be surprised if Alabama has a slip up. Wouldnt bet on it, but wouldnt be surprised.

I will be shocked if they lose in the playoffs

Yeah but 1 slip up before the playoffs would have no affect on their playoff status unless its to Georgia in the SEC title game, and even then it has more effect on teams like Michigan/OSU than it does Bama.

Alabama has to lose twice to be out. They'll be rated ahead of any other 1-loss team.
