Hawk is currently essentially crying for having stolen years of time from Sox fans over the years. No joke. It was with two outs in the bottom of the 9th if you care to hear it.

I horsefeathering hate Hawk Harrelson and I'm so happy he's breaking down and crying right now.

I normally think it's a good thing when guys show sensitivity and human emotion and some vulnerability, but nope, not this time. horsefeathers him.

I don’t like Hawk at all but I am finding myself a little sad due to nostalgia as I’ve heard him call games my entire life, it’s a very familiar voice. But f him

Good riddance. Hawk was not very good at announcing. I get being a homer in order to satisfy the fan base. But he became an old, angry, crotchety man who would not just root for the Sox, but openly root against the other teams/players. And he was very often wrong in his analysis and interpretation, especially when it came to balls and strikes prior to pitchtrax.

So long crybaby.

I, for one, am going to miss Hawk.

I’m going to miss seeing highlights of him despondent when the crappy White Sox make dumb plays that cost them a game.

I’m going to miss his over the top rants about some perceived injustice by the umpires against the White Sox.

I’m going to miss him going nuts about some play he thinks is called wrong by the umpires when in reality the play was called correctly and he’s too angry to realize it.

And most of all, I’m going to miss his dejected “And this game is ova” followed by 30 seconds of silence when the White Sox lose on a walkoff.
