What is going on with umpires. It is ridiculous how bad they are.

To make matters worse, he’s pressing, because down in the minors is the young stud waiting for the call. And when the youngster gets the call, the old grizzled vet’s days are numbered. So he’s making mistakes more and more often, partly because of diminishing skills, partly because he’s pressing.
