Kirk Cousins putting up 425 yards and 4 TD passes on the Packers defense that befuddled Trubisky is not encouraging.

Difference was the Vikings were down all day while the Bears were up.

If the Bears can't beat Seattle this weekend, there is a very good chance they open the season 1-5. They still have 3 garbage teams on the schedule, in AZ, BUF and NYG.

This game is big, big, big if they have any hope of contending this season.

Would you put Detroit x 2 in the garbage category?

I thought Tampa was going to be garbage, will be interesting to see if Fitzpatrick is still QB in week 4.

Seattle is reaaaaalllly banged up and I have to believe that Mitch and Nagy especially are going to want to atone for last week. The D will be lit up.

28-13 Bears

No I wouldn't put any division game into garbage territory yet. Detroit looked awful in week 1 and to start week 2, but they still have weapons and an ability to use them, and the Bears play them twice in 12 days. It will be extremely difficult to sweep them.

I expect this to be Mitch’s breakout game where he’s the best player on the field

Mack will be the best player on the field. Followed by Smith. Mitch will survive and we will win. i'm ok with that. We've won championships that way. + there's beer.

As great as Smith could be, if he’s better than Mitch you aren’t winning a Super Bowl

not true. bigger challenge, sure, but for all of Rodgers greatness he has 1. Even in todays offense heavy NFL an elite D can still prevail. + its not just Smith, its Mack + Smith +

Elite defenses don't give up 21 points in the fourth quarter while trying to hold a lead. This is a good defense, hopefully, but they can't win without a lot of help.

Didn’t have Mack and Smith on the field the entire second half. That’s wasn’t their complete team.

Someone said "elite", Tim will be arriving any moment

On the one hand...snooze.

On the other hand...I was also right.
