Yesterday I forgot to check my pockets when I did the laundry, then today when I was driving to work the check engine light came on. Things can only get better.

If the wind was a little different last week against the Dodgers he would’ve given up like 6 Dongs and 9 XBH’s. He’s been getting lucky, he’s still been good but more like sub 4 era good not low 2 era good

that fangraphs article on lester assuaged some of my concerns - i'm glad to hear there are actual reasons why things are different for him this year and that his two most successful pitches are just really successful. and also he's gotten very lucky with babip and hr/fb%

 

i think its highly likely he'll continue to have a strong season, but probably not *as* strong. anyway i just jinxed him, so he'll suck tonight
