The 'doubleheader effect' is much discussed and I'm worried what kind of effect its gonna have on our team after we've had so many postponements and we're gonna play an absurd amount of games in a row without a break

It was a good day for everyone. Most of us got to see the Cardinals and Vaunted Brewers lose without having to see Chatwood pitch. And Schwarber Fan got a rain out.

The weather in Cincy looks awful the rest of the week. This is really turning into a mess.

 

Hopefully Monty has a long outing or the pitching staff is going to be torn up with Chatwood. Maybe start Mike in game 1?

I don't know what kind of update they could have given. Anyone who was at the park and knows anything about baseball should have known the game wouldn't start until the lights got fixed. They had ComEd trucks lined up all down the street trying to get the lights back on.

If I'm the Dodgers I'm pushing for a forfeit win. They're here, they're ready to play and the Cubs can't get the lights turned on.

It was the first Dodger forfeit since July 18, 1916, when Brooklyn defeated the Chicago Cubs in the 10th inning because the Cubs' pitcher accused the Dodgers of stealing signs.
