You can sort of tell this is one of those games where the Cubs aren't going to do much on offense, but there is nothing else to watch so I guess it's this.

It's a guy making his 4th start, the warning signs were all there.

they need to move heyward off the plate and then keep moving him a little further and further until he's in the dugout and then further to the parking lot and then on a plane and fly it into the sun

I feel like they could fly him to Omaha and I would be just as happy. but whatever you are doing here in the meantime, keep it up

Is it fair to say that Glasnow's career path is comparable to if Bryant had come up and struggled and became what Tommy LaStella is?

Considering he was a pitching prospect I think it’s fair to say his career path is pretty normal and he reached a level most don’t. Even if it’s just a reliever

Veteran start from Lester. Didn’t have the best stuff but kept us in it and battled through Happ’s horsefeathers play in the first.

I like how you started off somewhat serious and then went full meatball/hater on Heyward. Your suggestion is a bit much...

 

I just want him to change professions and become the world's greatest motivational speaker.

it's almost comical how well rizzo hits there, regardless

 

it feels like he dongs in every game there
