My b/f just said he felt like he was watching “Bull Durham”.

Maybe Monty should have pitched today and Chatwood tomorrow on normal rest?

So inexplicable to pull Q with 80-something pitches yesterday. Who could’ve had the foreseen Chatwood might go short the next day and a bullpen game the day after?

Joe has been a trainwreck this year.

What a horsefeathering bum, and he has the gall to ask Eric Cooper about the strikezone has he walks off in disgrace

Hey Eric, where was I missing? is the exact quote I believe.

The worst thing to come out of this will be "Oh, Chatwood's last start was on the defense, he's earned another."

That was the classic, if this idiot doesn’t walk 6+ guys a game and 2+ an inning he could be really good because he induces pretty much only soft contact and strikes guys out.

The only reason he only induces soft contact is because he has no horsefeathering idea where he's throwing the ball, so neither does anyone else. If he stopped walking people he'd probably be Edwin Jackson.

I would very much be fine if Maddon finishes his contract with the Cubs next year and then they move on to someone else.

To be somewhat fair to Chatwood (even though he blows), Bryant and Russell did him no favors in the field

Getting rid of a top 5 manager, that'll fix things!

I was not of that opinion before this season but now I completely agree.

It wouldn't remotely surprise me if that's what happened. I'm probably just projecting but I can't believe Theo and Jed have been happy with his frequent weird ass decisions

Same, but also Jed and Theo should be better at signing players that don't lick butt.

Guy who pretends like he hates all things Cubs inexplicably thinks everything needs to be changed/dumped/whatever EXCEPT for the manager.

Your bit stinks.
