At some point this loser was going to get beat by the fact he can't throw strikes.

 

Well, that and a defense that has sucked in multiple instances this inning.

 

When your defense has to sit around for an hour while you walk everyone before a ball is put in play things like that happen. The defense is garbage but Chatwood doesn't help by being a shitty pitcher.

I'm still going more with the defense sucking. I actually think Schwarber played that fly ball not because he was bored but because he sometimes sucks on defense.

 

Don't get me wrong. Chatwood's control is awful. But he's not the problem with the team and has actually been a strength so far, no matter how annoying he is to watch.

I hope I never have to sit in the stands for a Chatwood start. So painful.

 

Can confirm. Glad my seats are in the shade today. On the plus side, haven’t missed much action heading to the bathroom and concessions after the Cubs hit.

I'm still going more with the defense sucking. I actually think Schwarber played that fly ball not because he was bored but because he sometimes sucks on defense.

 

Don't get me wrong. Chatwood's control is awful. But he's not the problem with the team and has actually been a strength so far, no matter how annoying he is to watch.

 

Standing around while your pitcher chucks balls in the general direction of the plate with no action is a problem. The defense has sucked ass but it’s not helped with Chatwood on the mound.

If the D has been good throughout the season, I might buy it. They have been dropping balls and booting them all season no matter who is on the mound.
