I believe I posted about it before but the part of Verducci's book that talked about the sequence of the Cubs getting those 3 runs in Game 5 is great. The gist of it is Bauer had a great curveball, KB especially couldn't do anything with it and then for whatever reason he just gave the Cubs a heavy dose a fastballs and the rest is history.

Still can't believe that Rizzo blast right after Bryant's didn't go out. I mean obviously everything turned out all right but Bryzzo going back to back in the World Series would have been awesome. I guess they'll have to do it this year.

 

Also, gif themed game threads are one of the top 2-3 things to ever happen to NSBB. I don't even know anything about some of the shows like Monk but they are still great.

I begrudgingly list the start times as Chicago time, as has been nsb policy per Fred's declaration. There's no need to add Chicago's time zone.

They're supposed to be, but basically as soon as I moved away from Chicago I immediately reverted back reading everything as also being in my same, normal timezone.
