And since I feel like sharing, I was so delirious, drunk and happy after we won, I basically proposed to my gf at the time. Unfortunately that part of the night was/is pretty hazy so she was, let's say not pleased with me the next few days. We broke up shortly thereafter.

 

My only regret is probably getting a bit too drunk but I'm sure I wasn't the only one who needed some nerve-calming juice that night.

It was a rough couple of days and totally my fault, but still worth it. Honestly as Cubs fans it's like we all won the championship. There will never be a better sports moment.

They do it until Summer break for the kids. The thought is it helps get more kids to the park since the games aren't ending at 10 or 1030 usually.
