Ball 3 was strike 3 but this ump is a bumbling idiot who got fooled by Willy’s horsefeathers receiving skills

I was wondering when someone would go there

"When?" It's already come up a few times; minus the arm, he's kinda butt behind the plate.

Not to keep using it as an excuse but the Braves really didn’t have many hard hits off of Q. He didn’t do himself any favors with being wild and the HP ump sucked as well, but he wasn’t giving up rockets all over the place.

I mean, sure, I've seen people mention the passed balls and plain inability to catch pitches sometimes but I don't recall anyone specifically talking about his lack of framing skills.

Yeah, his framing has been a thing since he first showed up.

Getting it handed to you by Pittsburgh and Atlanta is an issue. I miss Eloy.

Were u saying this last Sunday when Q was shutting out the Brewers?

Nope. And I won’t say it the next time he’s competent but right now I hate him and everyone on this sad sack club. Also I’m in the middle of moving so I’m extra perturbed

Sure would be nice to see our balls in play find holes like this

I don’t even know if this is accurate, but it feels like they put more balls in play than us.

It’s pretty much the same. Both around 30% combined K/BB total (so balls in play for both about 70% of the time). We hit the ball harder too, they hit it “medium” more.

This is probably rock bottom and the winning streak starts on Monday.

Heh, are you assuming that tomorrow gets rained out or is that a gimme loss against the Vaunted Braves?
