I did not remember this particular BCS callback to BB. Awesome.

 

It really is impressive how well they do the whole prequel thing, even with little things like this. It doesn't feel cheesy or forced, and instead just makes it seem like in the end that both series combined are going to feel like one giant seamless epic.

There's so many things that were clearly jokes in BB that they actually followed through on in BCS.

I go back to what Rhea Seehorn said about Kim's arc - basically the way that they are building this universe, she could even be in the background during the BB timeline, and made it sound like that could totally work. It made me really confident that the showrunners were going to horsefeathering nail this thing. And they have; I think it's better than BB so far.

I took this as a BB universe thread, and I stand by it.

I mean, we never saw Saul's personal life at all in BB. I don't see any reason he couldn't have been going home to Kim every night. Hell, some of his "ideas" for Walt could've been after talking things through with her. She's not exactly faultless.

Yeah she’s sticking around in some way, whether as a storyline outside of interacting with Saul after a break up or staying in a relationship with Saul and maybe being involved in business together. Her dying or becoming a meth addict or whatever is so dumb.
