Nova/Duke would be a Final 4 matchup, it can't be the title game. At this point I'm aiming for the balance of maximum seeding and mid-major chaos, with exceptions for power conference teams that are aesthetic obscenities(Syracuse, WVU, KSU).

Yeah that's what I meant. Winner of that game should be the winner. I know Michigan is "hot" but they still are a team that lost 5 games in a shitty BIG conference and basically lost to Houston last weekend. They certainly have the easiest path and it wouldn't be a shock if they won it and Beilein is probably the best coach in the country, just think Nova and Duke (on the right night for Duke) are the clear two best teams left with Nova being the clear best.

Gotta love Trent and Allen continuing to jack up 3’s (3-18 before Allen’s meaningless one at the end) as Bagley gets 9 shots total. And why teams repeatedly go for 3s late like that astounds me. Down 3 with 50 seconds? Jack up a 3. Down 5 with 30 seconds left? Jack up more 3’s.

Especially when teams are basically giving you a lay up by overplaying tbe 3 on defense. Take your lay up and extend tbe game

Fun game. If you'd have told me we could win with Udoka only playing 20 minutes, I'd have said no way. Agree with the posters above, major fail on Duke's part to not just give the ball to Bagley.

-Michigan buzzer beating 3 to beat Houston by 1

-Loyola hit a 3 with less than a second left to beat Miami by 2, then hit a jumper with 5 seconds left to beat Tennessee by 1

-Kansas needed Allen's shot at the buzzer to roll out to go to overtime.

Nope. I mean, even without them shooting the ball like that, we would have had to have played one of our best games to beat them. They were a much better team with a much higher ceiling. I thought KU was a sweet 16 team all season, so I'm happy about how deep we got. Still, when you get that close....

I’m thinking this will be similar to 2009 with UNC over MSU. Nova’s just too good and they’re on a roll right now, just like that UNC team was.

michigan is a better defensive team than KU, and their smaller, mobile bigs won't be a liability on D like Dok was for KU. I think it will be a better game, but if Nova plays even 80% of their ceiling, it's probably a Nova win.

Michigan was Toast when they got down double digits and then bricked about 20 three-pointers in a row. If you can’t climb back with the three ball, you’re screwed against Nova.
