What roles are still available on the offensive coaching staff? OC and QB coach are filled already which to me would seem like the only roles Bevell would consider. Maybe a generic "Assistant Coach" or something might work.

I'm reading the QB coach is still available.

Oh...I thought I remember reading that Dave Ragone was going to be retained because of his relationship with Trubisky last season.

The only position coaching role that has yet to be filled is a quarterbacks coach. It’s possible Nagy could create a role or title for another addition.

Nah. Pace suggested he consider keeping some of the positional coaches, Ragone included, but he's not staying.

I know he's a guard, but I'd love to trade down and get Quentin Nelson. He's going to be an All-Pro the minute he steps on the field.

Agreed. Besides, Sitton is old and who knows if Long will ever be the same after the injuries.

At this point, (unless Minkah and Chubb fall) Nelson is the one I want who will likely be available.

The woman behind the suit is Tyna Karageorge -- who had a child with Urlacher in 2005. She later married Ryan Karageorge, who died from a gunshot wound to the head in Dec. 2016.

Tyna had told police she and Ryan had been arguing on the night of the fatal shooting -- and at one point, he reached for a pistol in her purse and shot himself.

In her suit, Tyna claims Urlacher -- along with his lawyers and a reporter for the Chicago Tribune -- concocted a diabolical plot to convince officials and the public that the shooting was NOT a suicide, but rather Tyna murdered Ryan.

Tyna claims Urlacher called the shots in the plot hoping to ultimately get custody of their son.

According to court documents filed in Illinois, Tyna wants $25 mil in compensatory damages and another $100 mil in punitive damages.

I keep seeing one of the QBs at 1 to Cleveland and Barkley being the 4th pick, unless they really love one of the QBs (which it doesn't seem to be clear yet) idk why they wouldn't just take Barkley 1 to insure they get him and take one of the QBs at 4 (since only 1 will go before 4 if they don't pick one at 1) or use that pick to trade back to a team that really likes on at 4 to get more picks and trade for Smith or sign somebody and take a QB in later rounds/keep trying to develop Kizer. That would seem like the best use of resources if they aren't sold on any of the QBs or have them all similarly rated.

Good point

Mitchell is still obviously very much a question mark as to what he'll become but I feel so much better going into the future with him than I would if the Bears had to take any of those guys this year.

Kiper is been on Allen's jock for awhile.

This is more of a big board than a mock.....there's no way Darnold falls to #5 if he's passed by the Browns and Giants; someone will trade into the Colts spot

heard on the radio that someone (not kiper) had a source close to Browns and said they are really, really impressed by Allen and are likely to pick him.

In addition to the "grain of salt" behind all of this is that, why would anyone in Cleveland float that out there when there is no upside in them taking someone that isn't (to say the least) a sure-fire #1? Counterpoint, of course, is because Browns.

I wouldnt hate getting the top CB in the draft
